Bosch Heat Pump Dryer - Slow Drying

We recently repaired a Bosch heat pump dryer in Armidale that was taking an unusually long time to dry clothes. This is a common issue we see with heat pump dryers, often caused by restricted airflow or drainage problems.
In this case, there were two main airflow blockages contributing to the poor performance:
- The condenser unit, where warm air travels through and moisture is extracted, was heavily blocked.
- The lint filter also had a buildup of very fine lint particles - not visible to the eye, but clearly restricting airflow. This was confirmed by blowing through the filter and feeling the resistance.
Once both the condenser and the filter were fully cleared, airflow was restored, and the machine began drying clothes efficiently again.
In addition to the drying issue, the customer also reported a small water leak from the dryer. Upon inspection, we found the drain hose had become dislodged at the back of the machine. Once reattached and secured properly, the leak was resolved.
